Note: File permission can be divided in to 4 parts

For File

-|rw-|r--|r--|

For Directory

d|rwx|r-x|r-x|

1. Shows the File permissions.

  • The first character indicates whether is it is a file or Directory, if it is starts with “-” then it is a file and if it starts with “d” then it is the directory.
  • The Second set of the three characters represent the read, write, and execution rights of the file’s owner.
  • The Third set of the three characters represent the read, write, and execution rights of the file’s Group.
  • The Fourth set of the three characters represent the read, write, and execution rights of the everybody else.

2. Owner.

  • Name of the user who owns the file.

3. Groups

  • The Name of the group that has file permission in addition to the file’s owner.

4. Size

  • The Size of the file in bytes.

5. Modification Time

  • The last time the file was modified. If the last modification occurred more than six months in the past, the date and year are displayed. Otherwise. The time of the day is shown.

6. File name

  • The Name of the File or Directory.

Terms & Conditions:


1. This scheme is applicable only for candidates who have undergone training on the official curriculum of Red Hat (RHEL 6).

2. These exam scheme pricing are available only in India & Nepal. The fee and offer in India are as follows:


3. Scheme Details:
(a) Scheme 1: The RHCSA & RHCE is priced at INR 7,000/- each & hence available at a combined price of INR 14,000/- for
a single attempt of both exams on one single day only.


(b) Scheme 2: The RHCSA & RHCE is priced at INR 8,000/- each & hence available at a combined price of INR 16,000/- for
the first attempt of both exams on one single day only. In case, the candidate needs a second attempt, for either or both
exams, the candidate needs to pay INR 100/- to attempt either RHCSA, RHCE Or both exams on a single day.


(c) Scheme 3: The RHCVA single attempt is priced at INR 7,000/-.


4. Scheme Enrollment Start Date:
(a) Scheme 1: Enrollment date starts on 9th December 2012.
(b) Scheme 2: Enrollment date starts on 9th December 2012.
(c) Scheme 3: Enrollment date starts on 9th December 2012.


5. Scheme Enrollment End Date:
(a) Scheme 1: Enrollment date ends on 25th January 2012.
(b) Scheme 2: Enrollment date ends on 24th February 2012.
(c) Scheme 3: Enrollment date ends on 25th January 2012.


6. First Attempt - Last date For Attempting Examination:
(a) Scheme 1: Last date to attempt RHCSA & RHCE First Attempt 31st January 2012.
(b) Scheme 2: Last date to attempt RHCSA & RHCE First Attempt 29th February 2012.
(c) Scheme 3: Last date to attempt RHCVA First Attempt 31st January 2012.


7. Second Attempt - Last date For Attempting Examination:
(a) Scheme 1: Last date to attempt RHCSA & RHCE Second Attempt - Not Applicable.
(b) Scheme 2: Last date to attempt RHCSA & RHCE First Attempt 31st March 2012.
(c) Scheme 3: Last date to attempt RHCVA Second Attempt - Not Applicable.


 

Registration Process:


For Students
• The fees has to submitted minimum 7 days before the examination day to Red Hat India Pvt. Ltd.,
• The examination fee is non refundable.
• Once registered and scheduled, no change in the examination date is possible.
• Once registered, the candidate cannot replace themselves with another prospect.
• Those registering for Scheme 1 or Scheme 2 should appear for both exams on the same day, for both first & second attempt.
• For candidates registering for Scheme 2, the RHCSA & RHCE exam must be attempted on a later single date but before 31st
March 2012. The exam fee is INR 100/- for either RHCSA or RHCE or both, if attempted on a single day (second attempt).
• No discount policies given locally for the examination other than those declared by Red Hat India Pvt. Ltd. are valid.
• It is mandatory for the students to submit below mentioned forms to the examiner on the day of the examination, without
which the candidate cannot enter the examination hall
• All re-attempt candidates for Scheme 2 need to be accommodated between 1st March 2012 & 31st March 2012.
Mandatory Documents To Register:
1. Certification exam discount coupon of SAI & SAII for RHCSA.
2. Certification exam discount coupon of SAI, SAII and SAIII for RHCE.
3. Red Hat Official RHEV Book for RHCVA.
4. It is mandatory to provide Govt. issued ID card such as Driving License, Passport, Voter ID card, etc., on the day of the exam,
in original. Candidates registering for either scheme must submit 3 passport size photographs. All the forms should be
completely furnished by the student and signed by the concerned center manager/ director and sealed by the training institute
where the participant has undergone training.
5. Candidates already certified as either RHCSA or RHCE who are upgrading, need to provide only the printed copy of Certificate
instead of the corresponding book forms.
