Example 1:

Let us create a file with a file name "file01" and to verify its creation I will execute command "ls -l"



above example verifies that "file01" has been created which is empty.

To verify the file is empty or not let us open the file by executing 'cat' command.

since file01 is empty it did not return any value or data.

We can create or view time stamps of multiple files at the same time using touch command as follows
